Living in Style: Monchrome x Black and White

 

We've been buzzing over the black and white trend for quite some time
now in the fashion culture, Black and white also finds its way on home
decor. As I said this trend is versatile and very simple to accomplish.


Monochrome can be a trend that we can use to decorate our homes, the
black or white objects, accents, floors and furniture etc etc.. I
could go on and on about monochrome. Black and white is classic, clean
and inherently chic which is why it fits on every where.

Black and white is minimalistically « (what a word) chic and adding a
third colour to this scheme, can break off the monotony of just having
black and white. For instance you can have aqua,teal, fuschia, emerald
green and coral coloured cushions on your black or white couch. These
colours draw attention but still do not overshadow the whole black and
white theme. When buying accessories make sure to buy objects that
also draw attention, either an all black or white object, or patterned
black and white cushions are fine.

You can go all out with trend and do what your heart desires with it.

Florals for Men

Even though this trend can be very daunting, Floral prints are still
going on full force, they are always the trend for this seasonal
spring/summer days.

 

Florals can be very lovely if pulled off successfully, the trick is
too keep a simple look when working with floral prints or any other prints.

To pull of this trend you have to have that canvas to work with that
draws attention.. Either a t-shirt or a shirt or a tie. You don't want
to have a busy look because that could only mean you were trying too
hard to look good in floral.

Its a fun,spring,summer and crazy trend.. Be creative and stylish at
the same time.

Burberry collaborates with Apple: Burberry x Apple x London Fashion week

Burberry collaborated with Apple to produce a spanking fashion runway
" English Rose" Everything was soft, subtle the collection had soft
pastel colours, long cashmere cardigans, lace pencil skirts, draped
dresses, simple cardigans worn with strapped colourful heels,
twinkling crystals on each skirt, this collection is out of this
world. In the midst of all the fashion talk the brand new Apple iPhone
5s shot this magnificent showcase.



Burberry never fails to impress us with its fashionable garments,
which were absolutely mind blowing at the London fashion week the
garments featured mostly in powdery and pastel shades in lace, with
slouchy outwear made of cashmere, jersey and suede, any lady would die
if these were offered to her.




The iPhone 5s has an improved iSight® camera, with high quality of
taking photos and videos, this is evident with this Burberry's
spring/summer 2014 runway show! "We're inspired by what this could
mean for the future as we continue to explore the merging of physical
and digital experiences." By the man himself Christoper Bailey Chief
executive of Burberry.

This collaboration is absolutely amazing two powerhouse brands
partnering to produce magic! I never thought an iPhone would have
anything to do with fashion, well Burberry clearly proved me wrong!

Pastel Looks for Men: Menswear Summer Trends x Menswear Style

Its SUMMER, and since its summer its time we let go of those dark colours, show some skin and wear bold warm and cold colours. And the pastel trend will do, if you want that subtle look but still want to look distinctively modern, masculine and stylish then this trend is for you.

What I love most about this trend, are the colours the different tones and shades of colour really make you stand out from the rest, yet they not dramatic at all, one of the colours you might see is rose, baby blue and minty green e.t.c the colours add a bit of fun to your formal look or casual either way you'll still look stylish.

While most guys steer away from wearing anything with colour, adding soft pastel colours to your wardrobe and to your look will really make a big overall impression from the others.

Zano Skorzh Sithetho goes big at the SAFW 2013: SKORZCH x I AM AN AFRICAN

Zano Skorzch Sithetho is no stranger with regards to menswear these
days, clearly his work does the talking, the SA Fashion Week Renualt
New Talent winner and the Nokia Youth in Design award 2012 winner sure
knows how to pull of a standing ovation from his two shows.

His latest collection titled: I AM AN AFRICAN was astounding, the
collection incorporated African pieces with a bit of vintage style
infused. It was all things modern and stylish! Here's to the Eastern
Cape guy with big city dreams, clearly achieving them!

Denim on denim trend for men this summer.

Keeping up with summer trends, we've seen denim evolve over the past years, we've seen the trend at about the 80's and 90's with a hipster look and cow boys rocking this trend. Denim on Denim is a trend that shows no signs of warning.

While there are many types of denim, let me focus on this well-known denim that everyone is wearing nowadays: Acid wash. ⁠Blue acid wash jeans⁠ and blue denim jackets matched together create a really fresh double denim look. If you want things to be a bit adventurous you can match the acid wash jeans with an acid wash jacket so you wear the same kind of colour palette head to toe.

Dip dye denim also creates a fresh grunge look, its a really cool trend for summer. If you want a bit of simplicity wear black jeans if you want a dip dye and don't wear any denim jacket. Triple denim is too much! The trick with this denim on denim trend is too wear the same colour of go for a contrast with different hues of denim.

What to wear to an All White Party x All White Trend for men this summer season.

The white on white trend has been quite popular recently. We've seen our stylish men rocking this trend successfully but some are still struggling: and it doesn't look good if it isn't pulled of the way it should be.

The All White trend requires you to pair clothing with the same white palette or you can have different shades of white: your creams, light browns, light oranges. (You get what I mean.. Right?). Keeping up with the Spring/Summer season you can add a bright yellow, blue and orange to your suit to make it look more casual. You can also wear a Yellow/Orange T-shirt and your white chinos with high top sneakers and accesorizing the look.

I absolutely love this trend, its so sophisticated and classy yet class with a bit of fun. You can make it look very formal whilst you can add a bit of colour that draws attention to you all white attire to make it more fun and casual.

SAFW: Palse Homme x autumn/winter collection 2014

Fashion consultant and designer Paledi Segapo, the man behind this
renowned brand label PALSE HOMME, recently showcased his 2014
Autumn/winter collection at the South African Fashion Week.

The collection was inspired by the line
'Evil is an opinion' this collection blew me away, the more I view the
images the more startled I am about this man's work.

I see rich textures and warm colours that aren't that common when it
comes to autumn/winter collections, regardless of that the collection
still stays winning.

The Black and White trend: Monochrome x Mens Fashion x Menswear Trends.

Every season there are trends that influence us with creativity and
imagination, however some of the trends aren't for everyone and if
you're the type that likes being simple yet looking stylish and
effortless. Then this trend is for you.

If you are one of those people who gravitate more towards a muted
colour palette that really doesn't require a lot of hassle. The Black
and White trend known as " The Monochrome " trend will give you just
that. Monochrome has been seen hitting the runways with a stomping
sense of chic refinement and simplicity.

Colour is clearly vacant yet this doesn't deprive this trend of any
style. Monochrome gives that edgy feel on to your outfit yet keeping
it clean and simple. Just the way I like it, I'm sure you too gents
agree with me here. This trend is fast becoming that ultimate trend
that any man thrives to have in their closet and with mass markets
buzzing so much with regards to monochrome. You sure have to have it.

Some things just look better in black and white right? old movies, the
text in a good book, Instagram photos, and now, your spring wardrobe.
It may seem very strange that in a season where bright and lively
colours are in, I'm still advocating you guys to wear black. Lol.

They actually work hand in hand, this season welcomes an attraction of
opposite colours, but this trend opts for muted colours: Your blacks,
whites and greys. E.t.c (You know what I mean.) We are not colour
blocking! Black and White is one of the simplest, most chic of looks
to work whatever the year and never fails to gain attention when done
well. Bright whites tempered with inky blacks can be used to create a
truly bold statement.

This trend is ridiculously one of the most versatile trends ever that
can be easily translated on to your pre-existing style. We've seen
significant influences from men who utilise this trend successfully.
Kanye West, Karl Lagerfield and Justin Timberlake just to name a few.

So there we have it GENTS, Monochrome. This is an easy look to work
with and ideal for creating a fairly effortless wardrobe. This dark
against light, black with white monochrome fashion look is classic and
the perfect choice right now for any man.

Mens Fashion Trends. Black and White!!! Yo!

Jay Z x Hublot: Shawn Carter Classic Fusion Watch.

On 'Picasso Baby' Jay Z raps.. "And you blow, I'm still the man to
watch / Hublot on my left hand or not." Now you can own a piece of Hov
on your very own wrist.

Designed by the Brooklyn rapper.. The timepiece measures 45mm in
diameter and features Hublot's 2.90mm HUB 1300 hand-wound movements, a
modified face, black leather strap and the insignia "Shawn Carter by
Hublot" across the dial.

There are two designed watches one ceramic and the other yellow-gold
watch.. The prices are damn hefty!

Live To Be Remembered

There's always a time in our lives where we all have our breaking points: falls and adversities, encounters that hinder us from finding out how splendid life really is. No one can explain how life goes, no one can actually tell you what will happen to you or whoever you close with: its like a monotonous cycle with
an unknown ending.

With that though comes with pinpointing strategies on how you can triumph over your tribulations and trepidations. You have to go through struggle before you can get to the good part right?

We don't have a clear understanding or rather how powerful these words are " Hard work & Dedication " because they've been used a lot of times and lost their true meaning.

This brings me to the famous line on When we're done "Not everybody lives, but everybody dies" Dreams and setting goals for myself stimulate my living, they give me a clear path about where my life is heading, therefore its imperative for everyone to have a desire of setting goals and dreams for themselves, not only that but also having the knowledge on how to reach them.

Its not easy, in fact it will never be easy.. Work hard if you already doing that then do more hard work, Challenge yourself and perfect your craft, be brave and have faith in yourself I assure you, if you haven't done anything brave in your life chances are you haven't lived. Have the wit to climb the success ladder and live to be remembered.
